WebFeb 12, 2016 · This laptop has an IPS screen and apparently this "burn in" effect is known as IPS image retention from what I've been reading. I've had the laptop for a while and this is the first i've noticed it. It only seems to occur in the lower left part of the screen. I'm worried it's going to get worse.
