WebIt needs to be refinished but I'm not doing that yet, for now I want to get this paint platter off the door. Its exterior house paint (latex I assume) that's been on there at least 5 years. The door is shellac or lacquer, with some effort alcohol softens the finish. I tried it in a spot and it smeared the paint around a bit.
